X-raid travels with one MINI ALL4 Racing to Portugal for the season finale of the 2016 FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup. Ricardo Porém and Filipe Palmeiro (both POR) will contest the three-day event. Porém already competed in the 2014 edition of the event and secured the overall win, in the end!
The Baja will be kicked off on Thursday evening with the starting podium in the city of Portalegre. With a distance of 5.62 kilometres, the first ‘super special stage’ on Friday morning also will be super short. In the afternoon, the pairings will have to cope with a longer 83.15-kilometre special stage and on Sunday, the event once again ups the ante with special-stage distances of 220.52 and 198.11 kilometres.
