Monster Energy X-raid Team viaja até ao Peru

• Nani Roma und Michel Périn to contest the Desafio Inca

• Three days of deserts and sand

With just a few more months to go to the 2015 Dakar Rally, the Monster Energy X-raid Team is travelling to South America for the Desafio Inca (12th to 14th September, 2014), organised by ASO, the Dakar organisers. In the cockpit of the MINI ALL4 Racing, Spanish Nani Roma and his French co-driver will have to cope with dunes, dunes and more dunes as all the three stages will be contested in the deserts of Peru.

The Desafio Inca service park will be located at Paracas, some 250 kilometres to the south of Peru’s capital, Lima. From there, the competitors will start into the stages. The three-day event features six special stages – two per day. The first stage consists of two 163-kilometre special stages, on the second day, two special stages with distances of 199 and 126 kilometres are waiting for the teams and on the third, they will have to contest two 158-kilometre special stages. In the dunes, it’s not only about the driving skills but the navigators also will have to give their very best.
