Team HRC preparado para o OiLibya Rally de Marrocos

After the World premiere held this week of the new Honda CRF 450 RALLY bike, now it’s time for some action. For first time the entire TEAM HRC will be riding the new CRF450 RALLY in an international competition – The OiLibya Morocco Rally - which begins next Monday, and forms the final round of the World Championship Cross-Country Rallies.

Earlier this week, the team was able to interact with the new Honda CRF450 RALLY for the first time during the official photo shoot, shortly before beginning a race that will challenge the riders and the new bike. The feedback after each race day will be very important for HRC engineers in the coming weeks ahead of the team's preparation for the Dakar '14 Rally.

In The OiLibya Morocco Rally, both HRC teams will be present with a total of five riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (Great Britain), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal).

Paulo Gonçalves is in a position to challenge for the World Championship title, as after a great victory in the penultimate round, Rally Sertões in Brazil, the gap to the championship leader is only three points.

Tomorrow there will be administrative and technical scrutineering prior to the start of the race, to commence on Monday, October 14 in Zagora.
